Jessica Kotopka, PA-C

My name is Jessica Kotopka; I was born and raised on a cow and tomato farm in Imperial, NE. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology from Chadron State College in 2019. I then attended the UNMC PA program in Kearney, NE, to complete my Master of Physician Assistant Studies in 2021. Upon graduation, I began my career as a family practice PA in Alliance, NE, where I cared for patients in the nursing home, ER, clinic and was the sole provider at an outreach clinic in a nearby town. My four years in Alliance built the foundation for who I am as a provider and greatly strengthened my skill set. It was a true joy and honor to serve in rural medicine. I am now excited to join the team at East Lincoln Family Health and continue to grow my skills, serving a new population while being closer to my family. I am passionate about providing care that focuses on dignifying patients and treating the whole patient. I particularly enjoy family practice as caring for the entire family really allows you to understand the social determinants of health of each patient better. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy growing as a professional by serving as committee co chair for our state PA organization’s (NAPA) continuing education committee. I enjoy running and cooking with my husband, crafting, and quality time with my son. I look forward to becoming a part of the Lincoln community and serving your families.

She enjoys the wide spectrum of family medicine and working with patients to develop personalized goals to help improve quality of life and healthy living. Krystal Jackson, PA-C

Krystal was born and raised in southeast Nebraska. She attended Nebraska Wesleyan University and received a bachelor’s degree in biology in 2002. She then continued her studies at UNMC, where she attained a Master's in Physician Assistant Studies in 2004. Upon completing her studies, she and her husband moved to southwest Kansas where she worked as a Physician Assistant in a small rural hospital providing care in the ER, hospital, clinic, and nursing home - where she credits this experience with being the most formative years of her career. Years later, they returned to Nebraska to be closer to family and has continued to work in Family Practice for almost 20 years. Krystal particularly loves family practice because of the opportunity to see and care for all ages and see patients through all stages of life. “At my heart, I’m a small-town girl and value taking care of people as I would care for my neighbors." In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her husband, two kids, and two dogs, as well as being involved in her church.
